Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at a quaint hotel in Glasgow proved to be a delightful experience, perfectly situated near Kelvingrove Park and Museum. This establishment succeeds in blending traditional charm with modern comfort, making it a suitable choice for travelers of all kinds. I found the room well-designed and clean, offering ample storage space, including a desk, which I appreciated given my work as a history professor. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and I enjoyed a restful night's sleep. The bathroom, while compact, served its purpose efficiently with reliable hot water and good shower pressure. Located just a 15-minute walk from the SEC Armadillo, it’s ideal for event-goers. I explored nearby dining options, including the Ivy, which presents an intriguing blend of British and Asian culinary styles that could pique any food enthusiast’s interest. Upon departure, I acknowledged the courteous nature of the staff, particularly the Duty Manager who ensured a pleasant stay. This hotel serves as an excellent base for discovering Glasgow’s historical and cultural gems, making it a commendable choice for future travelers.
